I'm from around Boston and I remember as a kid seeing this movie sometime in the mid 80's and being real impressed and my Dad said this is just a movie if you want to see some truly amazing talent we'll watch a Celtics game together and he was right.....I was especially impressed with Larry Bird.

@keithbkr My brother loves this movie and is a huge dork. When he was younger he wanted to be Alex P. Keaton. Oh, and Kevin Bacon in the original footloose movie. He did, however, introduce me to Evil Dead 2, so that makes up for waking me up to Midnight Oil's Diesel and Dust song Beds are Burning for a full calender year. Just like that monkey thing from the Creepshow movie, i'm gonna stuff you in crate! And you can go to heaven or hell, whichever you prefer! P'tang, Yang, Kipperbang, ungh.
