I was listening to the podcast while I was working out at the gym and totally made the same "ohhhhh" sounds as everybody did when the GTA phone idea was said. Lotta people looking at me weird haha

I wanted to love Hitman Absolution, but coming from Blood Money that had such distinctive missions and so much freedom in how you approached them. I just found Absolution disappointing. It is not a bad game it just did not build on what I loved about Blood Money.

I actually got a platinum throphy for dead space. that game was actually super scary on the hardest difficulty. every shot counted. wasn't even interested in dead space 2... not that scary. dead space 3 ? its resident evil 5 and 6... its funny ea trys to copy them while the horror fans actually thanked them for giving us true horror. they should know re5 only sold well because of that racism controvery and resident evil 6 is the worst selling in the whole franchise.

Absolutely loved The Witcher 2! Far better than most mainstream games now-a-days.

A strong argument that was made was the "scariness" of Dark Souls and Demon's Souls; I believe there were some genuinely frightening moments in Demon's Souls (what is around the corner or what will that monster do to me?).

Yeah, I couldn't finish the first 'Dead Space' ... and now I don't even want to start 'Dead Space 3'. Boy, that franchise went down hill.

You liked Hitman Absolution? My problem with Absolution is as follows:

Far too much time spent evading the police or agency. Most of the hits were simply a case of reaching the target and then triggering a cutscene allowing 47 to do whatever he wants. The entire new disguise system was completely broken and stupid the way it was implemented. The check point save system is terrible, people you had taken out before would suddenly come back to life if you got respawned at a checkpoint and so on..
