1 Thessalonians 5:18

Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].

Hebrews 13:15

Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name. [Lev 7:12; Isa 57:19; Hos 14:2 ]

Encourage yourself to be thankful and thank God even if you dont feel like it!

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name!

Colossians 3:15

And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. Philippians 4:8

Proverbs 21:6

Securing treasures by a lying tongue is a vapor driven to and fro; those who seek them seek death

Proverbs 26:28

A lying tongue hates those it wounds and crushes, and a flattering mouth works ruin.

He who rebukes a man shall afterward find more favor than he who flatters with the tongue.

It is irrisponsible to tell people that the reason they suffer from depression is "thier"

doing and not a medical condition. Depression can and does lead to suicide for those who lose hope. My son took his own life because he thought he was resposible for his misery and that by talking about it he was "speaking death" as you call it, into the people he loved.

Awesome, Bella; you said it all! Complaining is so ingrained in our character, so disguised as inconsequential, and so commonly used in small talking that most people don´t realize how much it´s ungodly and, as such, a constant bondage to to a low spiritual (and material) life standard. So let´s begin a new day by saying ALLELUIA to the Lord!
