@wwrigle2 He wanted it to be a serious western but when they made it a saturday morning kids show he was disapointed the kid from fury bobby diamond became a lawyer

@mhagenhoff I agree that for a show that had very little character development of the major character to begin with, this season lacked a lot with the new characters that had taken over. I was always hoping that this season was perhaps a dream season and didn't really exist.

@nightman1963a The problem really wasn't Nimoy, it was the absence of Barbara Bain and Martin Landau.

I agree with ya TrekToons. Years 5 & 7,they had to change and fix a classic theme song that wasn't broken to begin with. I liked Sam Elliott in this but didn't like the fact that he was brought in to replace my favorite cast member Willy. The producers should have given Elliott a full season to see if his character could have been written into the show better and to see if Elliott could give the role a little more personality. Whenever he and Willy worked together on a show,it was always awesome

I thought Leonard Nimoy was good for this series. It's too bad no one really gave him a brake after Star Trek ended.
He's a good actor, but because of Star Trek, which I love, he got typed-casted in the 70's and it really was unfair.
