Manfred Mann's Earth Band: Father of Day, Father of Night; Cleveland 1973

There are so few pictures of this permutation of the band as well as recordings.

This song leads directly into Captain Bobby Stout, which they've recently put back into their live set making it the oldest song (in terms of the original commercial studio release) that they currently perform. Up until then it was this song, which is pretty awesome.

Presumably the song was performed like this until Bobby Stout was dropped from the setlist, though this was after Chris Thompson joined the band -- the bootleg from 1976 I referred to in the last video description still had that following this.
