Greenpeace activists were placing hundreds of litres of water in fixed deposit accounts at RBI (India's Central Bank) in New Delhi, not far from the Prime Minister's office. The Objective was to put a very important point that drinking water is very expensive.

The rivers of India are fed by glaciers for most times of the year. The average temperature rise is causing those glaciers to melt faster than they can form in winters. Soon they will melt away in summers and the rivers may go dry!
