Beastly vid dude, I agree 100% that shotguns are underpowered. I have been using shotguns ever since the game came out. It was fun for the first few weeks but know, everyone knows that they are underpowered. From the vids I have seen for Modern Warfare 2 it looks like the range for shotguns is still going to be weak. But, in MW 2 shotguns will have silencers,thats good I guess.

Yeah but u need to fire in bursts and by tht time any good sniper would kill u (not unless he's facing the other way). I just dread it when i come up against someone with a shotgun in a building coz i know he's going to kill me with 1 shot no matter what gun i have, now is that fair? Anyway good vid your pretty good.

Well, they are. Have you ever tried to kill something more than a few metres away? If you have a sniper rifle you can kill people from any range with pretty much negligible skill. Shotguns limit your options because no matter how good at the game you are you cant kill that M16er just outside of your range.
Also, I dont like being forced to use one specific perk with each shotgun, with any other weapon you dont need to do this.

They r not i've been killed tons of times with ppl usin shotguns from meters away, seriously if they were anymore powerfull i wouldn't play the game any more. You could say the same 4 the mp5 or anyother sub coz u need 2 get close 2 use them and m16ers will always kill u from way across the map lol

Ahahahaha no. Every smg except the skorp can out shoot a sniper with some skill, with the shotgun your bullets disappear at a certain distance. I'd prefer if they were just really inaccurate at long range. But I agree about the M16.
