French fashion model turned New Romantic chanteuse, Ronny made her debut on Polydor Records with 'If You Want Me To Stay' in April 1981. She released three more records before disappearing around the end of 1982 - such was her short lived music career.
As well as her music, a handful of record cover photographs survive showing us her striking, androgynous beauty (as used in this 2008 video) which still seems to captivate today.
A great song, great voice remember dancing to this in the early 80s nice to see it on YT thanks for uploading

Definitely a Bowie influence here! Great stuff.
(and can anyone else hear the first second of OMD's 'Waiting For The Man' at the very very end...?)

Her song BLUE CABARET (Live) is also great. There you'll see the now world famous movie soundtrack composer Hans Zimmer and keyboards. Hans and Warren Cann (Ultravox) also coöperated in the Helden project, with Zaine Griff. Ronny also sang together with Zaine Griff in the beautiful song THIS STRANGE OBSESSION on Yukihiro Takahashi's album What Me Worry.
