If you have a really low car and want to do basic work on your own you're going to need some ramps.
For cars like Vipers and Corvettes you're going to need to buy Race ramps for $200 or more. Not even the lowest profile rhino ramps work.

If you dont want to spend the money build your own ramps for about $60.

Materials

At least a jigsaw. Better equipment=nicer ramps.
6 boards measuring 8 feet long 10 inches wide and 2 inches tall. If you have wider then 10 inch tires get some wider boards.
Wood Glue
50 4 inch nails
Power Drill
Small drill bit
Marker
Tape measure

  • 5 min of nut swinging on his own car and 0 min of content. I think the idea was supposed to be stacks of wood but he didnt actually show anything. Might as well delete this one.

  • @JohnFromSpace ..... i got a tip.. quit fucking beating off to your car for 5 minutes before you start the actual titled video.

  • 4 2x10s is not 8 inches tall. Lumber measurements are taken pre-finishing when the wood is rough and you lose 1/2 an inch from both dimensions. So 4 2x10s stacked is only 6 inches tall. Also, I really hope you miss-spoke or were joking when stating they would weigh "700 pounds each"... Each ramp would be approximately 2 cubic feet and the wood you are using is probably roughly 45 pounds per cubic foot, each ramp should only way around 90 pounds...

  • thats cool, when u get ur dream car and all kinds off ideas u get to do to pimp&work on ur ride!! wat a russssh! im on da process of gettin one myself, just tryin to pick da one i can....LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! ya, son.....

  • @etscimo1 I agree it is a joke! Doesnt show bugger all!

  • Dude ghetto or not who cares, it works. I will use this idea when I get my Vette!

  • A Golf GTI does not cost more than a 90's Corvette.

Who the hell would pay $25,000 for a car that came out of the 90's anyway?

And to add to that, I could instead go get an R32 and smoke the living hell out of your 90's Corvette.

    More content, less talking.

  • Very nice looking car man. Looks like you have the eurowheels. Is this the magnetic red, or the other red? How many miles do you have on her?

  • Thank you for this idea! Although I don't have a fancy car like yours, my Prius is too low to the ground and all it took was to attach two boards together and now I'm able to change my own oil. Thank you again!
