Former pupils and teachers of Redcar's Sir William Turner School who fell during the First and Second World Wars were remembered today (12th November).
Current and serving members of the armed forces, members of the public, present and former students and staff attended the annual Remembrance Day Service at Redcar & Cleveland College.
A Celtic Cross commemorates old boys who fell during the Great War, whilst a bronze plaque marks the memory of those who died in the 1939-45 conflict. Both were re-sited following the redevelopment of the present Redcar & Cleveland College site.
Wooden crosses will be laid for each Sir William Turner School student and staff member who lost their lives.
