The moon is in a windy sign because it has crossed the equator, and this lasts for a few days. The result is to bring choppier seas and increased potential for tornadoes to some parts of the globe. Because the moon is moving south, skies are clouding up and rain systems are developing. Moon driven systems like those from the north are longer lasting than those wind-driven that come from the west and southwest.
