Marshall Holman went from being in the ESPN announce booth with Mike Durbin one week to tournament leader the next. On this show he was attempting to win his first PBA title in a LONG time against another star of the 1980s, Wayne Webb. Bryan Goebel takes Marshall Holman's place on the color commentary. Great match, as it's Marshall Holman in rare form. Part 2 of 2.

  • @saveus228 ...yeah, lol...true, that. Major differences were acts of violence against other players, and of bowling center equipment. Holman was fined and suspended for both. All of Pete's stuff was all personal crap he just couldn't handle. Marsh...again, his talent and HOF cred is unquestioned. And, when I interviewed him in Wichita in 1993, he had toned down his pompousness some. But, talking to Marsh was like talking to someone still looking for an argument, in some ways. Sorta bullying.

  • I got to bowl team Columbia 300 in a baker format. Marshall was of course on that team. I still remember how much fun that was. I think I was 18 and if i remember correctly I was bowling the 4th and 9th and so was marshall.

  • What an annoying nebbish jew.

  • @BaseFury

Knowing Weber, he probably had some of it coming. Both Holman and Weber are similar in terms of sportsmanship. Weber isn't beyond talking alot of crap.

Get a haircut Wayne Webb. You look like a freak.

  • What I loved the most...despite all the Sh** he talked in the media, despite all the Sh** he talked to Pete Weber, Weber still won 100,000 in their championship match in 1988. The rise of a true talent, the fall of a talented, but sh** talking, bitter loser.

  • class act 4 sure you don't know sheeeot alphabet whatever
