@papicops Shut yo mouth! If you don't like progressive rock or their "non-progressive garbage" go and listen to a different band. Their music is amazing in every way and who gives if they bullshit if their music is great?

I love how honest they are.Oh, and if Cedric doesn't like heavy metal, who cares? By the sound of it he's on about the screamo kind or boring repetitive low tuned riffs over and over again. I like some metal; the good kind thats unique and interesting, but a lot of metal fans are really closed minded and "if it's not heavy it's not good" seems to be their mentality when really there's loads of awesome music out there.
...Abba's kickass though. XD

To those who call them hipster, they are signed to a major label, and performed on MTV. And what Cedric is saying is that Metal has the general feel of "evil" or "anger" with it. You don't find people getting knocked out in most shows, other than Metal ones. Metal also is difficult to take seriously musically. Playing in a dropped tuning limits the movement in keys, or nature, which is why you can pick up the general "heavy" metal sounds, and generalize it.
