@lavera although what japan did was not justified but united states as a nation, who always takes responsibility of the world, should have no right to drop that bomb on japan or any other country being killed by an atom bomb is more slow and painful than being killed by man slaughter. the side effects last generations i feel terribly sorry for these 2 cities & the generation that is sufferin & prey nuclear no longer exist

Erm... what?
-
ok.. i guess now its ok for japan to kill the same amount of ppl in America with Nuclear bombs.. and then shut ur mouth and dont be a hypocrite about it jackass..
-
I don't doubt the military aspect of the atom bombs and the ending of world war 2.
We should look back on this and learn from it how horrific we can be to each other as human beings. This is just one tiny moment in the history of the universe of which we will derive the destiny of the human spirit.
The dead are not dead. They are everywhere we are. We should respect them and work for peace within our world.

Nuclear weapons should never be used
-
as long as all other technologies will be still availiable, i for myself have no problems with swords and shields ^^

Cant happen
-
it can be done....but then humanity will go back to swords and sheilds

NONsense? MokomaSusi, you are a freak? why not?
Human resilience at its best.
Japanese are amazing people they have shown HOPE to the rest of the world, never to cowar down and rise again and be the best you can be... So much so, that even you own ENEMY loves you.... America Loves Japan more than any other country now... Except Israel.. :) But still, from a staunch enemy to best of friends... All due to Japanese choosing wise path of using their own intelligence and making the best of that was left of their nations and souls

As i was growing up in japan we were told all the atrocities occurred in Hiroshima & Nagasaki. we grew up with the idea of us being the victim of the war. but that clearly isnt true. we were the invader, the murderer, the rapist in china, korea etc. I hope one day ill see people in japan giving silent prayers not only for those who died in japan but also(more importantly)for those died in Nanjing, perl harbour, Korea, singapore, and all the places where we took lives of innocent.
