The truth behind " HOTMIAMISTYLES"

This is my personal experience with the Company "HOTMIAMISTYLES" after I had posted my video reviewing the free clothes that they sent me. I , of course cant say that this is how they deal with everyone who they send products to review, only that I was asked to "review everything in a positive light". When I did not, I was then asked to remove my video as I was forcing the company to terminate employees "with babies to feed" even though at that point the video had only been up for less then 5000 views. I obviously have compassion for anyone who has children but felt that they were lying and the more I thought about it the more I felt that It was important to make this video and share what I know. I personally feel that this company tries to manipulate our subscribers into buying products and if someone does not speak of them in a 100% positive light they then go ahead and try and manipulate the Youtuber into removing the video with false claims about decreases in sales and termination of staff. I realize that posting the previous video and this one will prevent a lot of companies from wanting to send me their products in the future (as many people pointed out) to review. I feel that any company that stands behind their product will not need to fear working with me though. And that ultimately, knowing I am an honest person and that I don't lie or steal from others is really what matters most to me.

@shellslove i didn't read anything you said past this one. she could've made this same video and sent back the clothes and not done the review at all. not really fair to do both, tbh.

@rianrobot: that e-mail? maybe. but clearly she is dealing with an unethical company to begin with (not that two 'wrongs' make a right) ---and likely would've recieved a threatening or misleadingly pathetic e-mail urging her not to do the review. It's ridiculous. Companies who encurage constructive criticism are not only ethical and hnest but are going to be more successful in the long run if they are willing to consider and work with their target consumers' wants/demands. Teresa is MAJOR :)

@rianrobot: just skipping the review altogether when you know the quality of the product is not up to par, you know the company is requesting positive reviews only, and you know other YT'ers are obliging the company with glowing reviews only-- you're doing your viewers an injustice by not reviewing the product/company yourself----honestly---which is exactly what she did. Would it have been more ethical for her to give them a heads up that her review would not all be positive after reading

@rianrobot : If you saw saw her original review of the clothing, she recieved it PRIOR to a subsequent e-mail asking her to review everything in a positive light. I get your point that maybe at that point she could've contacted the company or declined to review the clothes she was given in a review vid---but I think alot of YT'ers use that 'loophole' of just not reviewing products they are given that they do not like. I feel that's still dishonest b/c it's an omission -

I will NEVER purchase anything from hotmiamistyles its so overpriced and the clothing is super ghetto and cheap quality.. If you're going to spend $40-60 on a dress go to bebe or guess for some good quality.
