  • There are so many layers to this man he never ends to fascinate me.

I started loving him as the Stone Roses guitarist, but there is more, much more to him.

I'm no art buff, by any means, but I'd love to take a tour of the Tate with someone like John telling me all about the paintings. He manages to convey the passion and love of art he has even to someone like me, who knows very little about it. Inspiring!

  • twombly is a genius at not painting. a master at not doing a good job. his work inspires me to be less talented.

  • i think the best place to squabble about art and then call everyone who doesnt agree with me names has to be in the comment section for a video on youtube. hands down.

aside from that, i think its pretty neat this guy got to talk about what he thinks of this art work and then gets to share it with a bunch of interested people.

  • @laurawire Knowledge can be aquired by reading books on a subject and people don't always get the chance to see the art they study, as paintings are in different countries or even private collections. I have studied art history and I remember the awe of finally getting to see for real something I admired in reproductions.

  • @indielad13 It's part of short films specially commitioned by Tate Modern

  • @cavernbirch are you talking to me?

  • @blurry67 I know, somebody got there before me! ;-)

  • You met John squire never

  • @cavernbirch sorry, not sure what you're saying... are you speaking in English? Anyway: that is what John sees in the painting. That's art: you don't have to KNOW, you have to FEEL.
