On Monday July 25, 2011 there was a protest held at the Toronto District School Board Headquarters. What started off as a protest in support of secular schools and a removal of religious services (including Friday prayers) from schools ended up being a hate-fest against Muslims and Islam. This video shows one brave Muslim woman who was harassed by the protesters about her faith when she decided to Thank TDSB for their decision to support religious accommodation. It is a shame in Canada that this young Muslim woman is treated like this and that being a Muslim makes one a target of this kind of hate.
