Cave Story Wii (Curly Mode) - Oh hey, look who it is...

I beat the game for the true ending but I still didn't unlock this mode. Did I do something wrong?

@shrooms57 You're playing the Wii version right? "Curly Mode" should already be an option for you to choose at the main menu. (It's not an unlockable but was already an option from the beginning) Unless Nicalis updated the game and made it an unlockable or something.

@SaiRaan I have the DSiWare Version of the game and I'm wondering, where you start the game (were theirs options like "start game") in the middle theres questions marks. how do i unlock it?

@nobluetown I don't own the DSi ware version so I'm not entirely sure about this but according to gamefaqs, you need to beat the game and get the best ending to unlock time attack mode. I'll try not to spoil much if you haven't played through the game yet but to obtain the best ending, I believe you need to get the Booster 2.0 and save Curly to access Sacred Grounds.

@shrooms57 well i know its kinda late lol but after u beat curly go into that save room and look at the map there will be a hidden entrance and go in it and ull find "curly's panties" in it and i guesss thats how u get it after beating the game

@SaiRaan I unlocked "Curly mode" on the newly-updated PC version called CAVE STORY+ just by beating Curly on my first save file. That's all it takes to then play as her.

Well, I think Quote should at least say that part. It's really weird that the player character made the question and the player goot to decide de answer.
