  • Why do people always incist on argueing who was a better player. Whether you're vouching for Green, Gallagher, Hendrix, Clapton, or whoever. Dude they all brought something unique to the playing feild, to say one was better then the other is pointless and simply your preference. they all had their subtle character and each had a style of their own. Why bother compare and argue, just be honored that you've had the chance to listen to them.

  • I'm not Rory's biggest fan, since he decided to pay tribute to a living guitar playing legend (Peter Green) sixteen years ago whom is the true guitar legend. When some Rory Gallagher fan tells me Peter Green is inferior, I introduce Mr. Ritchie Blackmore. What Rory fans don't understand is that he's more in Blackmore's territory, and he's completely out of his league. Peter Green was all about notes, and emphasis on dynamics. It was all about emotion, and feel. Gary Moore was a poser.

  • @jczother Amen, I think you got em all.

  • @jczother

HAHAHAHA go on my page and tell me who you see ...

B.B's fifties stuff rocks; then in the seventies, he got a little too jazz blues fusion for me. His collaborations with Bobby Blue bland were a major missed opportunity!

I've seen B.B. with slash! They said, "and towards the end of the show, we have a surprise!" Slash is always doing this; i don't know if Slash was slacking, but B.B. tore it up. Slash was holding notes; seemed like he didn't know where to go; B.B. never missed a beat; he always knew where to go next!

On the other hand, I think those Brits lit a fire under the asses of Freddie King and Otis Rush! They were great blues writers; but, it just seems to me they didn't realize they need to step up till the British bluerock invasion! Of course, there was Buddy Guy and then Jimi Hendrix(Hendrix destroyed Buddy's early career!).

  • @TheoGallagher Rory was unreal, tunning's truer then the blues, slide, dobro, harp, mandolin, lyrics, voice. and charm!!! Did I miss any?

  • @jczother Look below, I'm not Greens biggest fan. It takes little to be better Robby in The Last Waltz love it, clapton comes unplugged, bad ass picks it up and in that short time it's like yep he sucks! I can almost keep up, he's all scales...NO HEART

  • @oker59 I AGREE BRO, I LIVE IN ST LOU AND SEEN THE BEST PLAY ON A CORNER FOR CHANGE, FACT! CLAPTON'S HYPOCRITICAL ASS NEEDS TO MAKE ANOTHER MICHELOB COMMERCIAL OR SOME SHIT... JJ JOHNSON'S SLIDDERS RIGHT HERE, NEW ALBUM OUT NOW, ST. LOUIS BLOWS CLAPTON'S DOORS OFF!

  • @jczother ALVIN LEE, B.B. YOU'RE TRULY CHALLENGED...
