Where you guys located? We portray The Hampshire Regiment here in Chicago. Oh and tsk tsk on you lads, Mk III stens, and postwar gaiters.

What about the Waffen-SS? The combat portion? And yes, at its original formation a requirement was to believe in Nazi ideals, because they were created as body guards. But as the war came to a close most of the SS units were formed from multi-national units that didn't necessarily have to believe in Fascism. Anyway, the reenactors whom portray the SS units aren't actually Nazis, well not really anymore.

Hi Molgram...
As ww2 reenactors / living historians, we are invited to attend many events around the UK and Europe.. which involve not only living history encampments, but battle senarios. and as many of our members own period WW2 tanks, half tracks, jeeps, etc.. we incorperate them into our battle simulations.. so yes.. all what you see are real period armor...

BAd guys? Did you know? The Rusians killed a bunch more ppl then the Germans!
-
when comparing the german tanks to the american, I am surprised we did so well. our tanks seemed like metal coffins.

wich are the bad guys, the Germans?, the Wehrmacht?
Man the bad guys came from the east and brought the comunism to half europe, and Churchill approved that!
So pls don't say anything about good and bad guys!
Good point, but without those prepared to be the bad guys the good guys cant win.
plus our Germans are just the German version of the Britsh Tommy, fighting for their country too, we have no SS in our association as they are political troops.
My Grandfather was killed in the war by Germans but I feel no anger towards them or reenactors who protray them.
