noam chomsky is an idiot...blaming the israelis and americans who offerd so many peace offers over the years, some of them were sucsseful (jorden, egypt)...has to be really disconected to this earth, in a world were regims are allowd to kill there own people in front of the UN....the u.s is like a ray of sunshine

The difference between South African Apartheid and Israeli Apartheid is that the US is a very religious country. We think Israeli Apartheid is God's Will. In addition, the Israelis seem to have convinced many that giving up any speck of ground--even if it's not theirs to begin with--would be akin to appeasing Hitler, and kicking off the next holocaust.
So I think Chomsky's comparison is a bit oversimplified.
