Stock Cobalt SS/TC 1/4 Mile

2008 Cobalt SS Turbocharged. Bone stock, lower pressure in front tires, in Competition Mode, used no-lift shift, did not use launch control. Track was very well prepped.

if this is bone stock god bless you! but i have not seen a stock turbo ss run better then a 14.0 in person. i tell you what tho im starting to want a ss t/c for my wife to match our trailblazer ss. fast lil car. this car had no computer tune or other trick?

No tricks or anything. Just a good run on a good day. Ran some 13.7's and 13.8's that day to back it up.

not saying what you actually did just saying that it is an easy possibility, anything is possible, guess what i am getting at is the track i go to is only 760 ft above sea level and I have never seen a stock cobalt ss turbo run faster than 14.0, if it really truely is stock congrats on the great run and internet timeslips on a forum dont mean anything to me its just a number and ive seen a lot of bs, I greatly respect your driving ability though, i have seen very few people launch fwd good

Cool man. Yeah I realize a lot of bs gets posted. Just so you know, this is at Toronto Motorsports Park, 630ft above sea level. I don't have the stock record either. One guy ahead of me that I know of took his stock SS/TC to 13.56@104mph. The stars were aligned when I did this run. But I did have a couple 13.7's and 13.8's that day too.

LOL! I love how you're telling me what I did, and have witnesses to, was not possible. Were you there? No. Do you know me? No. Did you see my car in person on the day I did this run? 13.6 for the price of this car is very hard to contend with. You don't have to respect this car for its look, build, or sound but if you name other cars that can get 13's stock you'll start to notice some names costing well over the Cobalt.

At the time of the video the car was unmodified, so it had 260hp and 260trq according to GM :)

I ran a 13.9 stock in my cobalt at FIR which is ~1200 ft above sea level and it is always really hot here in Phoenix. And go check cobaltss.net if you don't believe the stock times, because a 104mph trap is not impossible for a stock 'balt at sea level.

You cannot run a boost controller on a cobalt turbo unless you want your shit to blow the fuck up. PCM tunes only. This isnt a 1993 skyline we are talking about.

Good work man, I'm fully bolted and tuned and my best at 6000 ft is 14.4. Basically i suck at launching. A buddy was running a stock car with GMS1 did 13.8 so that shows you my poor skills

No one cares about your gay ass rustang, a stock 99 gt is slow as all hell and would get shit on everytime by a ss/tc. Not to mention the ss/tc would lap you over and over again in any road course all while getting 30mpg. When you make 300whp and 360wtq with an intake, exhaust, and tune you can talk, till then stfu and stop trolling
