  • Hey Guys.... do any of you know where i can get the Adobe Camera Raw program he uses? I just purchased CS4... is it included in that? Just curious... im a bit new to all of this.... thanks guys!

  • @ImCHADg Yep, Camera RAW 5.X is bundled with Photoshop CS4. Just open any RAW file to Photoshop and Camera RAW will magically appear!

  • And bang!! xD! Thanks for the great video! So helpful =). Could you please tell me what the last picture on your video was? It almost looks like a brick maze of some type =). Thx again!

  • The location is The Balcombe Viaduct in West Sussex, UK

  • could those effects also be added to a jpge file or it must be raw ?

  • It's best to use RAW.

  • Look out dng files i think they are caled. Your camera is probably newer than you cs2 then it do not suport it. But there are a adobe program that can add dng info to the picture i think.

  • Someone please help! Whenever i try to open a RAW file it says "could not complete your request because it it not the right type of document". I have photoshop cs2 but im not sure if that has anything to do with it someone PLEASE reply.

  • @Matthew1762 yes you can but some parts might lose detail as jpeg is an 8bit file, but a raw is a 16bit file.

  • Awesome! I don't have a RAW-capable camera right now, but I'd like to eventually buy one. I'll also try to play more with my JPEGs to get more out of them, even if the quality of the photo slightly decreases. At any rate, it shouldn't matter when posting small images to the internet.

  • well i have cs5 , but when i put my raw pic it says some error and check camera raw , i try to update it ,but another time error !! i was wondering if adobe camera raw is a seprate program from photoshop or connected to it ( i mean if u should buy it seprate ?) and if seprate is it the same results that in adobe PS ? plz urgent answer

  • @PhotoGavin

is it the same in photoshop elements 9?

  • Gavin, you've produced the best series of photography videos on YouTube, bar none. I've been through hundreds of videos, and your series is by FAR the most useful, informative, and enjoyable to watch. And most of your photos are actually good, unlike a lot of the other instructional videos here. You have a new subscriber. And thank you.
