Fish performed magic with Marillion before he left. Steve Hogarth did a GREAT job when Fish left. At least on "Season's End" and "Brave". I salute both. But I wish there were a way to bring both Hogarth's and Fish's magic together with Marillion... . It would be the greatest ever.

One thing Fish did was connecting songs together. "I was wrong... so very wrong"... to connect Kayleigh and Lavender. Or the way he connected both sides of the "Misplaced" album together. Or how he told this story before starting Incubus. An entire concert wrapped into just one song.
And the end of Lavender: I'm always walking in the park... always dreaming of a spark... from you...
Both Fish and Hogarth are amazing performers, VERY different. Wishing we could see the best of all of them...

Hogarth is good but when i hear Fish's voice i feel i'm in theater and he is great actor!

This song is Fish's all the way - but Hogarth really sounds at the top of his game.

At times this is impossible to watch. No matter whose holding the microphone, Kayleigh is a song that is meant to be sung by Fish. This is a pity because H actually does a fantastic job here. He has a wonderful voice and he is natural successor to Fish. Fish sings Kayleigh with emotion because he wrote the words and it meant something to him. H does his own interpretation of the hit and does a good job as he does a good job on Lavender.

H. shouldn't sung this song. This is totally Fish, only with his voice and emotions it could be called Kayleigh, this is "something sounds a bit like Kayleigh". H. totally killed this song.

Steve is so slim sized here, I love this guy, great musician. He is not playing, he is touching the guitar
This comment has received too many negative votes show
I don't think it is right for H to sing fish's stuff.
Fish wrote those songs based on some of his perosnal experiences, and if H is singing them, then it's pretending that he's lived thoe experiences....anyone agree?

They rarely perform any pre-H songs live any more, thank god. This video was taken of the 1991 tour and they'd only done one album with him at that point so they were bound to do Kayleigh etc.
