I jumped of into 11 feet off the diving board for the first time TODAY!

12 feet deep. But when you jump or dive, you only use the top 5-8 feet. Then gravity's force gives up and buoyancy takes over. You have to know how to get to the bottom on purpose when jumping off a board into 12 feet.
