  • Put the point on the wingtip. If the point moves forward, decrease the bank angle. If the point moves to the rear, increase the bank angle. Works perfectly every time.

  • AppleSweeter - If your still wondering then my answer would be all of the above. It's the feeling of freedom, not being confinded to a road. Just the feeling of flight itself is awesome. It's like flying a kite that your sitting in. Suspended animation is the greatest. Being able to see the land from on high his always been something people enjoy.

    Amelia Airhart said something like "You haven't witnessed the world unitl you've seen it from above the trees" I think she had it right.

  • Thats not wrong at all? It helps keep an equal distance from your point. Thats how the chief flight instructor taught me when i was learning.

  • the point may not be to keep the point on the wingtip, but my method still works perfectly for keeping an equal distance from the point. Been using and teaching this method for more than 30 years.
