My guess is that Jason has this cult following which is like gung ho and so committed to this artist (among whom I proudly count myself). However, the vast and mass population other than this cult following are un-blissfully ignorant of his artistry. It's been a long time now that this cat should have swept the nation if not the world with his music and it just hasn't happened. I mean he lives in a guest house for goodness sakes!

Love the live "NYC"! I heard the studio version on the "I'm Ok You're Ok" album from a few months ago. Jason on the West Coast from "NYC": "There's nothing like this place, except maybe outerspace". Keep rockin' Jason!

It's insane how artists as good as jason just don't get given the proper platform. His stuff would work tremendously well on radio too. He deserves the air time.

what a beautifully talented man...
as for standards of music, someone i can agree with 100%..
it's too bad the music buying public doesn't recognise him..
and a real ashame that someone of his quality
would even have to consider 'giving up'.
i understand his frustrations...but so glad he hasn't for the sake of music itself.
