Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing - Outer Forest

The spookiest of the spookiest, the CURIEN... MANSION.... Actually, this track isn't that frightening. Heck, it's a family game for god's sake!

Here we take a quick tour at Outer Forest that is located on "House of the Dead" -franchise. Racing is still easy, so things are not getting tough just yet. Undeads can be found wandering around here and there. Just don't hit them, okay?

The track contains a small jump into a church (is it a church?) and a jump out of it. Try nail a few tricks on the latter one to get some additional boost to stretch those driving muscles!

There is a split up soon after the second jump. Anyone who has nailed a fast time on this track in Time Trial will pick the route that goes to the right. It's not that long and it doesn't have any jumps, which is the complete opposition the other route has. And it was even disguised with some wooden hedges... What's up with that? 8| If it is supposed to be a short cut, then it should help the racer go faster, not slower damnit!

"Who am I... Why do I live for... What AM I...?"
It's none other than Shadow the Hedgehog, the ultimate life form left with an amnesia after 50 years of... an accident or something.

Shadow has his game named after his own name where a player tries to discover Shadow's past, what he really once was. This is one of the games with choices that effect the outcome. Your actions will depend on your choice and that will depend on the outcome, will you become a merciless dark master destroying everything in his way or the world's hero. Or perhaps a mixture of both...

Shadow uses a pair of wheels, with Acceleration and Handling being the best and Top Speed and Turbo Boosts being the worst in the sack. He can perform a wheelie on the ground to get additional Turbo Boost, just like Ryo Hazuki, Alex Kidd and Big the Cat. Shadow seems to held plenty of world records according to the Time Trial online leaderboards (PS3)....

When Shadow thinks it's time for All-Star, just like Sonic, he will use the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds to blast through the competition faster than the speed of sound! In addition to inflicting damage by contacting, Shadow can also throw Chaos Spears to widen up the range of destruction. Effective? You decide, as you cannot decide the path of the spears.
