  • He sounds great here. He should lose the chorus that he usually uses. This is better.

  • Beautiful guy, beautiful sounds.

  • Very Interesting Interview! Absolutely Masterclass! Thanks For Posting It!

  • Saw him last night with Dave Weckl and Chris Minh Dokey.. It was AMAZING, more than amazing actually! Best show I've seen in a long time, maybe ever! Had a little word with him before the show. Such a cool guy!

  • @hallaelementary

Are you kidding? ...I feel completely the opposite..

  • Mike is definately a master of the craft! As for lose the chorus, that's what gives him his full, individual sound, so his playing is definately recognizable, amongst the rest. A true inspiration to us all!!!

  • Mike has a very soothing soul and yet a burning musical gift for composition and improvisation.

  • @hallaelementary - Was just thinking the same thing. Chorus is such an over-used effect.

  • When practicing 3rds, 4ths, etc. in Cmaj. , Mike is caught alternating his lead finger on one of them. He leads with a pinky instead, this is yet another way one can warm-up.

  • quiet power

  • Me too fellow ax grinder; I saw this master with Dennis Chambers in Spokane, Wa at the Fall Community College...

    Awsome!
