Are there any news form the canon 7d mark 2 ? or the 5d Mark 3 ? I want to buy the 7d but i dont know if its better to wait or the new mark 2

@psoutzisrs There is no official release date yet. I thought about waiting for the new model too but honestly there have been rumors for over a year now and still no set date. In my opinion I think they have been delayed due to all the tragedy that happened in Japan last year. I decided to just buy the current model and then sell it when a new model is released.

surely the price will drop considerably, enough to buy you a grip and 2 more baterries.

@jdcsaint You're absolutely right but there's no official release date yet. Some blogs are even saying that we're looking at a late 2012 release date or even pushed into 2013. We've had release rumors for over a year now and due to all the disaster that happened in Japan, that has delayed everything. If anything I'll sell my 7D and upgrade for a few hundred dollars, depending on the price of course.

nikon and canon is playing the waiting game, i give them until mid february..i'm actually looking for 7D Mk II updates here and your video showed up...

a cam thats neither under equipted nor too overkill, 7D is also my choice
