    I have the unifive version of this and seeing this video I think I'll stick with that one, even with all of it's flaws. Hey I don't mean to bust your stones but I found this statement in a review "I really admire what Unifive was trying to do with this, but the execution is just lacking… I would have rather had a solid ship than all the little fragile gimmicks. It looks cool on display, but if you ever want to play with it, forget about it. The thing is doomed." Be careful what you wish for.

    Funny how 6 years changes your view on things. The original unifive was so fragile, all i wanted was a fun toy that looked good. But back then I failed to appreciate all the intricate gimmicks they attempted, even if they failed. Today, holding the Fewture version, I wish a version somewhere in the middle was released. I wish for the build quality of the Fewture with some of the gimmicks of the UniFive. Maybe someday someone will get it right. - Josh

    Also,it seems that the Unifive God Phoenix is next to impossible to find. It must've had a limited release.

    I really wished they did a better version of the original God Phoenix with the gimmicks and balanced quality control. Oh well,at least there is the Gatchaspartan for me to look forward to. The first actually combining vehicle for Gatchaman and it is its own thing mostly unrelated to the God Phoenix.

    Bummer. I've never understood why we've never seen a really nicely scaled version of the original Godphoenix that is bigger than the palm of your hand. I would love to see Bandai do a two foot long version someday with all kinds of gimmicks and all the vehicles fitting nicely in their respective places. I'll continue dreaming...
