Here's Terrance Archer with his 32 inch, 25 pound bluefin tuna that ate a hot pink, 4" cedar plug while we trolled the Barnegat Ridge off of NJ. We also had two bonita and a 10 pound mahi mahi making for a nice mix of loin in the Ziplocks. Water had blue tint, chick birds, flying fish, and the best part is, it's all within 20 miles of Barnegat Inlet aboard my charter boat, the Hi Flier.

  • It was a great three weeks of 76 degree blue water, flying fish, mahi, bonita, and bluefin tuna. It has been a while since the Ridge looked that good. Hope for a repeat next year. It started as soon as the incredible live bunker/trophy striper run of May/June started to wind down. 2011 was a season to remember. Glad you guys got in on it JL. Hope to see you out there.

  • 15 miles offshore of Barnegat Inlet, New Jersey, at the Barnegat Ridge. An hour from my dock to the grounds.

  • Nice fish, my dad and I got one that went 35 pounds in the same area, just east of the North Ridge on a blue/white islander ballyhoo. I think we heard you guys on the radio that day.
