To respect someone does not mean to play stupid. This interview is terrible and we cannot know what he really thinks about the questions made to him. That is a fact.

Om damen ändå kunde låta Tranströmer få aningen mer tid på sig att försöka uttrycka sig.

He has recorded 2 CD:s with piano music for the left hand! (some of the pieces composed for him.) His wife told me he is a music encyclopedia on 2 legs! I would suggest: start with his correspondence with Robert Bly. Tomas´ letters are hilariously funny!

He couldn't talk, but the way to communicate his thoughts was his piano. Very nice and beautiful. What a great poet, what a well deserved prize.

Strange to interview a man who is clearly unable to give an immediate response. I would have directed the questions to his wife instead.
