I still use NOMA indoor and outdoor Christmas lights from the late 80s that belonged to my parents.

Also, in terms of manufacturers and model numbers, all of the LED Christmas light sets are EXACTLY THE SAME!!!

Has anyone noticed that these days it has been increasingly difficult to find Christmas lights that last???
Those LED ones are so cheap and badly designed that one that my dad regrettably bought a few years back actually crapped out after ONE NIGHT OF USE!!!
Not only are the LED's wired on a series circuit, which means of one dies, they all go out, but the LED's are permanent and non-replaceable.
LED Christmas lights are of incredible cheapness!!!
I miss these lights, the new leds are so faint and ugly.

@r655321 lmao!
I miss those big christmas lights. Sure they were a fire hazard but nothing beat the smell of burning plastic and snow spray when you're a kid on christmas!

Was damn near expecting an explosion behind the kid as he starts running in slow motion with the dynamic angle and all. lol
Now that would have been a commercial! :p

lol we used to have blue ones at our house. Paint would wear off in a few years though.
