  • @becominglight It's hypocritical unlike the honest sexploitation of the 1970's.

  • But in the 1970's there was less enhancement and semi naked women looked more natural. You could only see girl on girl action in the cinemas in 'X' rated films as videos weren't available to hire back then.

Teenage girls & young & not so young women are expected to doll themselves up in a way that even everyday street prostitutes wouldn't bother with. It's like a cartoon version of a streetwalker or brothel worker rather and they look more like drag queens or clowns in Ann Summers underwear.

  • Growing up in the 1970's in Britain it wasn't unusual to see print images or naked breasts shoved into my face on the front cover of men's magazines, posters and calendars. Women rightly campaigned for girlie calendars to be removed from the workplace where women are employees and/or customers. Music videos depicted male bands with girls dancing in cages. Feminists won some battles here but it's now gone full circle with even females singers dancing in cages and not just models and dancers.

  • Funny how they don't mention that these shows will usually be shown after watershed time lol. Seriously, stop with the whole moral panic and come back when you give us proof. Teen pregnancy has actually dropped over the years. Hmm. Wonder why that is.

I started watching porn at age 13, yet I turned out perfectly fine, healthy and stable.

Try teaching your kids not to cave into peer pressure, instead of wrapping them up in cotton wool.

  • Good, I'm glad to see some action on this because I am so tired of seeing over sexualisation being paraded as liberation. It's not when girls feel they need to conform to slutty, ott images they see on TV in order to be cool or get the guy... tweeting this ou!!!
