Nathan Winograd discusses why euthanasia is not the answer to this problem. Spay/neuter/trap /return wins out...

But I know it takes a lot of money. Have you had any large fund raisers, like silent auctions with a dinner?

Thank you for what you do for animals.
I have neighbors who are allowing their cats to reproduce indiscriminately and here in West Hollywood I can no longer find a free rescue or spay to help. Anyone have any ideas?

The cat hoarder who is to blame for this should be arrested for animal cruelty and then all the cats could at least be captured and sterilized. (and removed) I'm sure they are not all licensed either so isn't that also breaking the law?

@whiteflowers59
Would you believe that there already WAS a raid (apprx. 3 yrs ago) at which time 30 cats were seized along with 2 aquariums filled with rodents (piled atop one another). It went to court and the mother's lawyer won claiming that the cats don't belong to them... that they're just FEEDING them! Augh!

Very important, and needs to be out there. Some people mean well, but don't understand the common sense of neutering. They need to be "trained," and more people need to join the "Force" to eradicate this kind of suffering.

Just realized a typo in the video text! ;o
I intended to state, "local law enforcement & public shelters deal mostly with 'eradicating' the nuisance..."
Apparently, a search warrant was served @ the property over 1 yr. ago. Sadly, cats were removed & were probably destroyed - since no rescue organizations were called in. This has not addressed the problem, as evident in the footage. The suffering continues...
.
Thanks, T.
