US troops pullout from Sadr City

Almost 10 days before the scheduled American pullout from Iraqs urban centers, US forces on Saturday handed their base in the Baghdad neighborhood of Sadr city to Iraqi forces, to be returned to its true owner, as called by the commanding general of the 1st Cavalry Division, who mentioned that the price paid for this land was the souls of both US and Iraqi soldiers. He then added that the Americans did not give Iraqis this place as Iraqis have earned it, paid with Iraqi blood, sweat and tears. Which triggers lots of thoughts about the American vision of what happened in Iraq, as to whether this invasion and what was achieved by it, really worth all the souls lost for it?
