@darksidenactseit then again... once the procedure is done and ur eyes are perfect, it will all have been over. haha

@rpprevost awww just imagining myself in ur position made me cry lol. I really want this done but it looks so cringy..

@tonyh189 That sounds worse having that pressure building up till your eye seperates, its still removing parts of your eye.

@firefly21111 -- GREAT! It's not a fortune cookie where you add "after Lasik" at the end. I would hope more events happened than just these "after lasik."
Now list all the success stories.

@mosherguy18 -- DUDE! Language!
-
@dv14n7 -- Truthfully, I don't know. I think it was a wire which would make more sense. Either way, a cut is a cut. If you think logically, would you really want a hot laser boiling the water on the surface of your eye? No!
What everyone needs to do is .... USE KNOWLEDE NOT IMAGINATION! A laser corterizes/burns whatever it touches. If the laser is used for the incission through a watery layer only one thing can happen ...hint ...(water + heat = ?)
Who wants a blade now?

@TheRaevin -- The flap that is made is paper-thin. During a LASIK procedure, the flap is put back. During a PRK procedure, the flap is removed and will grow back in 3-4 days.

@TheGirlzLOVEboyz -- the portion of the eye that is treated during this process has no blood vessles, and is mostly watter. In fact, the eye heals so quickly that they must work fast to get the flap back in place before your eye starts to heal. Once the flap is put back in place, it re-attaches itself in about 3-4 seconds.
Rubbing your eyes hurts more than does this procedure. I heard someone say that PMS is more painful. I go insane when an eyelash gets in my eye. This procedure was nothing

@rpprevost still blade less...

@dv14n7 -- Even lasers have limitations. They don't bend. The gun wouuld need to move around your eye with you moving underneath it. Not ideal to have a moving target.
Understand this ... the tool used is like a loupe used to inspect photo negatives. When it is placed onto the eye, the eye bulges up into the circular rim. What actually makes the cut passes through a channel around the rim. This makes a paper-thin slice just barely grazig the surface.
I had a PRK in one eye, and lasik in the other. My vision was horrible like 20/300. During the procedure I could barely see the tiny red light that you're supposed to focus on. While the lazer was zapping away, I could see the light getting clearer and clearer. When it was all done, and I sat up on the table, I was overcome with emotion because for the first time I could read the assistant's lab coat. Then I looked across the room and could see the "Exit" sign. My life was changed.

I had it done 2 days ago.... I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with the results so far. I have a small "foggy" glow around everything but they said that would pass in a few days. It's already 100% better than the day before. I drove to work and saw every sign without a problem. Seeing the alarm clock this morning for the first time in 23 years was amazing. Best thing i've done for myself. Life Changing. Of course with anything there are risks but , so far I am very pleased
