Iowa debate is legit. IHSSA is a joke, though. While CR Wash was the only school to make it to the TOC last year, there is a strong history of solid debate in Iowa. Luke Allen, of Iowa City, lost in finals at DDI. Iowa plays host to 3 bid tournaments, as well. Graham Tierny (not me), from IC West has 4 bids as of December. We also generally do the majority of our work without coaches, because we don't have charter schools to allot large sums of money toward worthy resources. Fuck texas debate.

STFU, the only time that you'll really utilize spreading is in national circuit tournaments and TOC. The amount of time put in by those kids at that level on research is equitable to a masters thesis so don't fuck with the flow.

They might have won what ever this is for student congress...too bad they weren't good enough to make it to nats in alabama this year.
