- dies ist ein altes Volkslied aus Thüringen - auch bekannt unter dem Titel "Treue Liebe" oder "Du hast die Seele mein" bzw. im englischen als "You have Taken My Soul", das auch 1933 in dem Film "Regine", sowie In Franz Waxmans Film "Three Comrades" (Drei Kameraden) 1938 zum Einsatz kam
- die deutsche Fassung wurde seinerzeit auch von Marlene Dietrich oder Richard Tauber interpretiert.
