After a 5 min warm up gave it some stick to clear the cobwebs out and get some of the fresh petrol through the system. running much better now. (note it normally only pops and flames on the over run or by tapping the throttle after a good rev.

  • its a good question, and a tuned up v6 in the back would be awesome with the torque as well but just turns it into a much bigger project with a lot more fabrication. The supercharger is almost a bolt on item with very little fabrication needed and the car could easily be converted back to standard.

  • Im just curious to why you charged a 1.6..

    Not hating , just curious..

Should have stick a v6 in there from one of the newer pug's.

  • a V6 would have been a whole car rebuild putting it in the back and making it rear wheel drive and would only have been 200hp hp at the flywheel. This is 220hp at the flywheel and thats with the boost limited to 9psi. The car is setup fwd and the light engine makes handling very good. I didnt want to have all the excess weight of a big v6 in there which would have cost a LOT more money to do and made the project much larger :)
