ANOTHER WORLD: Carl's Redemption Pt. 146 (subject to change)

Carl Hutchins is back in Bay City and is determined to win the favor of not only its citizens but the love of his son, Ryan Harrison, and the heart of Rachel Cory. Carl's longtime enemies have other plans however. Is Carl a changed man? Will Kevin Anderson succeed in putting Carl behind bars? Will Carl be able to win the love and trust of his son Ryan? Will he be able to convince Ryan to fight for Vicky Hudson Harrison, currently married to his brother Grant?

In Part 146 (subject to change), Felicia tries to persuade Carl to leave Tops when Ryan arrives with Frankie. Carl tells Ryan that he knows the name of the doctor who is treating Vicky. He will give Ryan the info... for a price.

Carl tells Ryan that his price is that he go after Vicky. He sincerely wants Ryan and Vicky coupled, inspite of Ryan's skepticism. He gives Ryan the info and tells him that he is to find Vicky or things won't end well with him and her.

Carl calls Rachel to make sure she'll keep her "date" with him at Tops. Again, when pressed about it, Rachel snaps abruptly when inquired about it, this time at Cass. Cass then fills Iris and Matt in that Carl is back in town.

Ryan and Frankie follow up on the lead that Carl gave them concerning Vicky's nurse. Frankie reminds Ryan that Carl did give him his first real lead in finding Vicky.

Rachel shows up at Tops and, to Felicia's surprise, sits down with Carl. Felicia continues to be surprised when she learns that Rachel is having a drink with Carl.*

*The exchange between Carl & Felicia is hilarious, especially Carl's "getting older by the minute" comment.

I love Carl. This is the beginning of Carl and Rachel. The chemistry between Carl and Rachel has always been off the charts. He looks sly and she looks pissed. Felicia just looks nosy!

Nosey? Perhaps, but I think Felicia was just being protective. Remember, the two were estranged when Rachel tried to intervene concering Felicia's drinking problem. They had just started getting close again and I think Felicia was trying to safeguard her friend. Still, it's a fun scene, especially since we know how Carl & Rachel end up.

I agree ~ Felicia was protecting Lorna (as always). I loved the exchange between Felicia and Carl, particularly b/c once upon a time they shared more than a love of champagne. Loved Ryan & Carl too ~ "sanctimonious prig" LOL!!
