Umm...I'm going to pretend that makes sense...

  • @cantonboi2 white ppl dont have a culture blacks you dont hear about white slaves you hear about black slaves you dont hear about white people that save blacks from slavery you hear about blacks helping blacks out of slavery so how you sound you only hear about a couple of white people that saved blacks from freedom

  • @TheDarkNobleOne

You've never met proud Greeks, Italians, or Germans?

I welcome that, that's wonderful - and I do think it seems odd to say "white" pride, but there's plenty of French/German/Greek/etc proud, at least here in Texas. It's just a matter of word use, still the same.

Again, it all boils down to the minority. It's completely harmless, and the reason "white pride" gets crap is because the guys who promote it are...umm racist? (KKK, NeoNazis)

  • @cantonboi2

But the problem is that if White people wanted to celebrate their culture by passing the phrase White Pride people would regard it as racism. There shouldn't be a double standard for minorities and their tolerance of racism

  • @TheDarkNobleOne

It's not an exclusive "Asian pride" type of thing (think AZN pride)

It's celebrating Asian culture, not putting themselves above anyone else. It serves to give them the PRIDE of being Asian Americans, especially since Asians are a minority.

I'm guessing you are a Twinkie, and there's nothing wrong with that.

  • Fantastic role model.

  • @TheDarkNobleOne: it must really suck to be you. When you look in the mirror you must kick yourself: wtf, I'm not white? It's not Asian Pride, you don't have any pride as a person. You are so self conscious about being Asian, I doubt you can function normally. People like Lin don't think about part about themselves and just go about business. Even you became successful for whatever dumb luck you ran into, you'd still be a loser in your mind because you can't stand being an Asian.

  • @TheDarkNobleOne wtf is wrong with you? balance your asian culture with american culture, your ancestors are asian and thats ok.

  • Went to the d-league

  • @channmans

I am asian and I feel crappy that this 'Asian Pride ' is dominating society. We come to America to become Americans and seek new oppurtunities and which we have and then we call ourselves American and not keep our roots. If you want Asian pride you're always welcome to go back to Asia.
