Finally sumone showing what a brat can really do. I used to drive my brat up skitter trails. Just dont go from snow to pavement at 50mph in 4wd with odd sized tires ..... It is bad for the transfer case..... duh

from one suby lover to another. . . .sweet, right now I only have a 92 Legacy, but I used to have a stock 85 GL hatchback, and it was the ultimate offroader, went anywhere a 4x4 could go and then some!! Will own a brat one day. . .

really cool, my coworkers have been out 4wheeling, now it's time for me to get one, i'm the kind of guy who likes to have something differnet, i'd like to find a brat, something that none of them have just to see how it does against a samari, cherokee, and wranglers

Well not really, its 4wd but made for a higher speed 5mph, Its hard to drive how it is offroading, rock climbs etc. There is a transfer case you can install to give you that low gear ratio, I forget off the top of my head what its from but it costs between 700-1000 in parts and a good amount of labor.
