My video was a much earlier study,iIn retrospect,it was too literal,It was more of a study of archaic Japanese characters(Kanji),but through the years of meditating & furthur studies(reading)one begins to understand the ,"no ears,no nose,no sounds" bit.Changing the subject, someone on this forum must know,What was the name of the Sutra the priest had done in,"MimiNashKoichi"?(movie)Wha
t would the real-life sutra be in a similar real-life situation as that monk or laypeople? -
Yes,it is all about emptiness,no obstruction in the mind,It is about DEEP,calm abiding during meditation. In deep meditation you cannot see anyting, you cannot hear anyting, you cannot smell anything, You can't "itch"or feel itchy when in genuinely deep meditation.lol...It is explained more thoroughly in Geshe Sonam Rinchen,Ruth sonam's book,The Heart Sutra.

It is basically about emptiness of mind.
There are no ears,
There are not eyes,
There are no nose(s)
Enter the gate of emptiness.

I see that there are some character differences between this Japanese version and the Chinese version. Also a couple extra characters: "all" added to "far away from inverted world-dreams". Interesting!
