Jim & Melody - "Prodigal"

PLEASE HAVE AN OPEN MIND WHILE WATCHING THIS VIDEO. IT IS A CROSSOVER AFTER ALL ^_^

~STORY:
Jim and Melody have a relationship that her mother doesn't approve of. This causes Jim to distance himself, and eventually take some time to travel; but he ends up just missing Melody even more, while Melody suffers the same fate as her parents try to have her befriend another boy. Melody can't take the pressure anymore, and so she runs away and looks for an alternative life to try and be with Jim (hence, the mermaid transformation). 4 years later, Melody finally finds Jim again on a ship, and they are basically reunited after she becomes a human again.

~Side Note:
I didn't use Ariel anymore as the older Melody, because I felt I was overusing her since she was at the beginning of the video; and I like the idea of having Esmeralda be the older version of Melody... plus, when you think about it; Jim and Melody are apart for 4 years, so Jim turns 19, and Melody turns 16. I thought it worked out better because I'd rather have Melody "look" older, if not the same age, as 19-year-old Jim, instead of having her stay 16 because the age gap just creeps me out -_-

Loved everything about Melody and Jim but couldn't you have used Simbad for an older Jim cause Melody ( Esmaralda) looked older. Not saying the vid was bad it was brillant im just curiose is all.

I didn't change Jim's appearance because when you think about it: At the beginning, Melody is 12, Jim is 15 and 4 Years later, Melody turns 16 and Jim is 19... I didn't think that Jim needed to change because its not that much difference in years to me; compared to Melody who would go through the most changes from a pre-teen to 16...

That's just me thinking that way though ^^

I hope you don't mind me making a slight criticism. Esmeralda at the end as Melodies human form kind of ruined it for me. It's just way to big of a difference between the edited Ariel and her. They don't look anything like each other and that took me out of the story. Also Esmeralda looks alot older than Jim making it hard to beleive she is the same girl he ran away from.

Please understans that I adore your videos and am only pointing this out so that you can continue to perfect your skills.

I get that statement a lot. I did explain my reason for doing the things I did, but unfortunately I erased it all (*fail) So don't worry, I understand my flaws here, and I was originally trying to follow some ideas from my Numb video, but I see now that it didn't really work so well. I still like everything the way it is for some reason lol, but hey, I appreciate your opinion on this well and I can only take it into consideration next time

I love this, but I think i have a similar complaint to most other people, Esmeralda kinda threw me off a bit. other than that, this was just amazing! ^_^

I've just fallen in love with this music! The plot is crazy good and easy to follow! You're editing was amazing with making Ariel look like Melody. Must've taken a lot of time. And I love the way you aged her because it was like something disney would do. Beautiful job. :D

She gave her a new body so no one can recognize her but Jim.

wow the ariel turned into melody clips were really amazing! im speechles because i have tried to do it so many times and i cant never get it rigth, and in your video it looks so perfect, like if the was colored that way. i admire your skills so much more now. this was plaiin epic.
