Yo dawg I heard you like cities. So we put in a city within a city so you can be in a city while you be in a city.

interesting topic... yes, every building, most especially skyscrapers should be structurally sound...

@mtyartist777 I highly doubt Japan will build such a city even after it recovers from its earthquake. Japan's economy is rapidly declining, and its population is severely aging. By 2020 it will not longer by the third largest economy in the world, and perhaps drop to 5th or 6th.

London badly needs summat like this urgently.
The option of unaffordable rent or sharing with a bunch of strangers is scandalous.
You have a home so you have space for yourself.

If I had the money, I would totally do this.
Set it on water at a decent location on the Thames that accounts for a rise in sea level.
The return on housing and business rents and advertising alone would pay the hundreds of billions in costs.

part 2. This could prove even more deadly than what they've already had to encounter. Aside from never having to put their feet on mother earth, isn't that what the elites want? Control the populous? Keep the earth for themselves? After all, in their own twisted minds, this is what they want. Like I said, I can see some good for communities, but I can also see the darker side to this. Be careful with what you wish you for. With Respect!

at 2:50 in the vid they mention MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO LIVE FROM CRADLE TO GRAVE WITHOUT EVER SETTING FOOT ON MOTHER EARTH ??? Um, although I can see how this could benefit a city such as this, my respect to the Japanese people, but I see an issue with this. Aside from the terrible devastation they go hit with, they are still and will still continue dealing with the fallout of Fukushima and upcoming earthquakes. continued...
Maybe some day but now, Sky City will have to wait for another long time until Japan fully recovers from these earthquakes and tsunamis along with the rest of the world's economies. But, this should be a reminder of how determined and brave Japan is to construct such an amazing architecutral achievment. I wish I'm still alive to see this in the future; a symbol for Japan's strength, success and human inginuity.
