Support stroke education. 1 in 15 deaths are caused by stroke. It is the number cause of long-term disability. Stroke survivors are some of the most inspirational people that you will ever meet. This video is so emotional. It is raw...real and beautiful. Bitter-sweet and so effective. Wonderful.

I am 20 and today I heard about one person who actually had one , she is in hospital and was only 60 , I searched on the net to learn more and I just realised that not really all bad things can be prevented , if god wants you to go that this is how it is , very sad , the way we live and die ... life is really sad when you think that all the people you really love can just go like that , all the memories in one second ....

Stroke does afftect speech in some cases. Some styroke survivors after rehabilitation might suffer from aphasia which is a disorder that results from damage to portions of the brain that are responsible for language.

There are riskfactors that when controlled can decrease the risk of a stroke. These include Controlling your blood pressure, quit smoking, be physicallyactive, maintain a healthy weight and improve your diet, manage stress, keep on taking medications and visit your doctor regularly. The doctor is very important because he can track family history of stroke and you blood pressure readings.
