good cover but i would think someone at your level would know by now that you have to use your pinky as freely as you use your other fingers.. but nice cover

ok......i have taken what you guys have said on board regarding the use of pinky fingers, however, have you guys heard of Django Reinhardt? this guy played all his guitar solos with 2 fingers and was considered a great. what is more important than playing with 1 finger or double handed taps is that you can impart emotion into your playing.....once you have done that you have started to understand what guitar is about.

Thanks I tried to get it to sound like Brian but got a closer sound using bridge and middle pickup in phase than the neck and middle out of phase. works better that way on my setup. It will sound even better when I make my own bm red special!

Dude, don't let people tell you how to play. You think people told Hendrix, hey, you're playing that guitar upside down, or Lindsey Buckingham, you need to use a guitar pick. Play what's ever comfortable.

yea i totallyagree withyou itsextremely important tofeel whatyour playinknow what imean,but its alsoimportant to get better atplaying andi think uknow thatno matterhow great you areyou couldalways be betterif youplay to your fullcappabilities ( full hand span)-usingyour pinkyfinger,i think before you can understand what guitar istruly about(as you put it) you first have to learn to understand what notes go together and mesh, some of those notes can only be played together when you use your pinky
