hehe, lucky you ;p good job on the fight. I think I'm going to attempt this sometime soon. As I have almost the same gears as you that I can see (nashira pants etc), and most of the same merits too. (Hume char.)

Yeah, for some reason, I got lucky and he never used it during that fight. I had a Vile Elixir +1 ready to counter the 2 hr, but ended up using it after that 1k Eclipse Bite.

Merits at the time were 5 Convert, 3 Ice, 2 Wind, 6 Enfeeble, 2 Elemental, and I think 5 or 6 MP (have 8/8 now).
